Sergei Gorkov, Director General - Chairman of the Board of RosGeo took part in the broad meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Natural Recourses of Russia dedicated to the results of the Ministry performance in 2018 and objectives for 2019.
In his address Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kobylkin noted that one of the priorities in 2019 would be the development of the Russian geological exploration, and an important role to play here should be approval of a new strategy of RosGeo.
“Our objective today is to develop a new sustainable business model and strategy," - emphasized S. Gorkov. - The combined business model should be based on predictability of the public order, as well as on integration of services in partnership with the largest mining companies and corporations of the Russian Federation. We will pay special attention to our work both in the Arctic and in foreign markets, especially since Zarubezhgeologiya has a fairly good amount of information accumulated during the Soviet period, and certain developments made already in recent years. Of course, we need to further improve our efficiency, first of all the efficiency of the business processes. We will also pursue the development of personnel, enhancing the competence, basing on the experience of the older generation. I am confident that in the next year RosGeowill be able to demonstrate the significant qualitative growth in terms of development."
