OSP Amurgeologiya (a branch of Far East PGO, a subsidiary of the state-owned holding RosGeo) started the season of field operations at a gold-promising site within the Solovyevo ore cluster. The field works started in 2018 and would continue to the ed of 2020. The surveys are conducted at the expense of the federal budget within the framework of the state program “Reproduction and utilization of natural resources”.
The total area of the gold-promising field is 270 km2. The site is located on the territory of Tynda administrative district in Amur region, within Solovyevo ore cluster (sheet N-51-XVII), which includes the preserved Jalindin (Kirov) gold-ore deposit, as well as Ivanovo and Alexandrov promising sites that have been identified earlier by the predecessors. Having the initial data in mind the Far East PGO experts expect to reveal gold-bearing deposits of the low-sulfide silica-gold quartz vein type, as well as linear stockwork zones with bulk ore grade mineralization.
The new field season opens the second phase of the search for gold ore in the area. Specialists will conduct the detailed surveys in the most promising areas identified last year in the purpose of tracking the veined and veinlet-disseminated mineralization zones. There is an objective to identify the sections with gold content corresponding to the estimated parameters, as well as to study the structure, morphology and material composition of near ore metasomatic rocks and ores. In addition, the company will continue the geological and geochemical and geophysical surveys of 1:50 000 - 1:10 000 scale. Finally, the customer will be provided with a map option with gold-ore forecast in 1:50 000 scale, a set of graphical materials (scale 1:10 0000 and more detailed), and recommedantions with respect to the activities to be perfoemed in 2020.
