RosGeo and Gazprom nedra have signed agreement of cooperation
Rosgeo and Gazprom Nedra LLC (fully-owned subsidiary of Gazprom PJSC) have made an Agreement of Cooperation today. Sergey Gorkov, Director General, Chairman of the Board of Rosgeo, and Vsevolod Cherepanov, Director General of Gazprom Nedra LLC signed this document.

Rosgeo and Gazprom Nedra LLC (fully-owned subsidiary of Gazprom PJSC) have made an Agreement of Cooperation today. Sergey Gorkov, Director General, Chairman of the Board of Rosgeo, and Vsevolod Cherepanov, Director General of Gazprom Nedra LLC signed this document.
"We consider this Agreement as the key to creating a sound foundation for the further development of our partnerships with Gazprom Group companies," — Sergey Gorkov. "I am confident that the joint process projects would significantly contribute to greater efficiency of geological explorations performed by Gazprom Nedra on the deposits and licensed sites of Gazprom.”
"Rosgeo and our company are engaged in very similar objectives and have a good record of contract performance on the Gazprom sites. We are certainly interested in finding synergies in joint efforts," — said Vsevolod Cherepanov. "We are ready to assist Rosgeo in those areas of expertise, where Gazprom Nedra has an extensive background, and we are looking for assistance from our colleagues in the areas where they are more competent.”
Under the Agreement, the priority joint contracts of Rosgeo and Gazprom Nedra will be focused on performing the office and field seismic explorations, drilling operations on the licensed sites of Gazprom and its subsidiaries, including those located in internal sea waters, in the territorial sea, on the continental shelf, and in the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Russian Federation, as well as engineering and environmental surveys, exploratory boring, design and surveys, downhole logging and well investigations.
The integration of resources and competences of Rosgeo and Gazprom Nedra in the field of prospecting, assessment, exploration and extraction of raw hydrocarbons in the Russian Federation is also referred to the pilot joint initiatives within this Agreement.
The Parties agreed to establish a Steering committee and a working group for preparing the programs of priority joint projects and suggestions for forward-looking initiatives.
